Brittany was the one who got me connected with Power to Change on the UofC campus during my first year (and likely, first week) of university. She is such a bubbly and chill person, and also a gracious bride. She and Tom are so right for each other; I loved watching their affectionate friendship from behind the lens. All the best to both of you!
Rosana and Andrea
Announcement Photos: Becky and Ty
I know Becky (and by extension, her husband, Ty) from volunteering at the Jesus Loves You Society in Calgary. Becky was one of the staff members quite a few years ago, and has since embarked on other journeys. I was thrilled to hear from her about taking photos, and even more thrilled to hear that she and Ty were expecting their first baby! I am so happy for them and can’t wait to see the little one next year.

Siu Wedding
I told you a bit about Jack and Andrea in a previous entry, when I did their engagement photos. Of course, here are the wedding photos to follow! I have never laughed so hard while listening to wedding speeches. Their friends are an absolute hoot, and are so articulate and witty. This was my first full experience at a Chinese wedding, too, which was very fun and made me appreciate my roots more 🙂 Jack and Andrea are models of solid friendship in their commitment to each other, and they are courageous too; only a few days after getting married, they hopped on a plane to England, where they are now both teaching!
Liao Family
The Liao family is seriously such a delightful and adorable family! I just can’t get over them 😀 I know Cindy and Sherry through Power to Change at the UofC. I knew Sherry first, and had the honor of trekking it out to Radium a few years ago when she got baptized! I have the pleasure of seeing Cindy every week now, for a small group of girls that meets to study God’s word and encourage each other. Cindy and Sherry’s family was an absolute joy to photograph; they were all so natural in front of the camera. Enjoy!
Ehrenholz Wedding
Here’s to another beautiful bride and groom! Natalie and Ryan were a very fun couple to work with, and had great chemistry in front of the camera (which makes things very easy for me, as the photographer, hehe). They have tremendous support from their family and friends, and I loved getting to document the story of their wedding day.
Kung Family
Bonnie and I go back to first year university days (not that it’s really that long ago, but it’s still a fair chunk of time!). People used to get her and I mixed up so frequently that we dubbed ourselves twins and sometimes call each other by each other’s name.
She has on two occasions left Calgary for beautiful BC. This particular time, she was leaving to be staff with Power to Change in Victoria, BC. I am excited for everything she will be doing over there!
Newborn: Asher
Let me introduce you to Asher, a beautiful firstborn with such loving, careful parents 🙂 Michelle and her husband were so gentle with their new baby, and were so easy-going! I can tell they are going to invest wholeheartedly in this little guy, throughout his whole life, and he will be so blessed by their attentive love.
